Auburn Court, is an all-girl rock blues band from Los Angeles,
They are, Hannah Castelluccio (vocals/ rhythm guitar),
Sarah Dawn (lead/rhythm guitar), and the twin rhythm section of,
Candace Letterman (bass) & Crystal Letterman (drums).The band came together in music school. Sarah had played in bands with the twins for a few years prior. They had been searching for a lead singer/ songwriter/ rhythm guitarist who wanted to play bluesy music.
Hannah was looking to put together all all-girl blues-rock band.
That's where the magic began. Their music became a fusion of bluesy, classicrock roots music
w/ pop friendly arrangements and melodic lines. Hannah's vocals are extremely soulful and powerful.
Her lyrics are heartfelt and honest, representing an array of different emotions.
Sarah's guitar playing has been inspired by David Gilmore and Jimi Hendrix.
Her technique and creativity lead her to write very
tasteful and memorable guitar solos.
Candace's solid bass lines fit right into the pocket of Crystals driving drums. Auburn Court has been playing out regularly in Hollywood as (Plumm) and has held residencies at the Gig, The Coconut Teaser, and soon at Molly Malones and The Scene. They also have been involved in the Make a Wish Foundation,î which led them to meet their inspiration for their new name.
Auburn Court is the street name of a special girl they met who's wish for meeting a girl band they helped to make come true. These talented young women are bringing soul back into today's music.
