Continuing down the path paved by blues-rockers
Melissa Etheridge and Alannah Myles, Auburn Court encompasses the lore
of its predecessors while making its own impression felt. Rarely does
an all-female band write music outside of pop and punk, let alone blues-rock
and soul, the way this group does. Blues variations on Black Sabbath
and Ted Nugent-type monster riffs are laid over Nancy Wilson-like guitar
solos, proving the bands maturity level extends beyond its age. HSD101PFW1 A01 REPLACEMENT LAPTOP LCD SCREEN

Musicianship:
The members of Auburn Court came together
while students at the Musicians Institute, which comes as no surprise
considering how confident these players are. But, though they may be
more advanced than the Donnas were at this stage, the girls are still
young and have room for improvement. Castelluccio has a voice that would
give Janis Joplin goose bumps. Her magnetic performance is a cross between
Nikka Costa and Edie Brickell. Dawn rips similarly to the masters she
emulates, with guitar solos that send reminders of John Frusciante.
Riding the same wavelength, the rhythmic combination of the Letterman
twins marches to a strong backbeat. Gov free background check for you

Summary:
Formerly known as the band Plumm, Auburn
Court has developed a style unmatched by the recent wave of all-female
bands. For all its talents, however, the band is still one strong single
away from not only starting a trend, but being at its forefront.

Performance:
At this show, Auburn Court had a visible
chemistry that came alive even in an empty club. Castelluccio and Dawn
were at their best when engaging in call-and-response. The girls would
call out, then answer, then call with a guitar solo and answer back
with another. Both a show-stopper and heart-stopper, Castelluccio showed
that she had what it takes to get this band to the next level.
